From Mobile Content Bits websiteBy Dianne See Morrison - Mon 21 Jan 2008MoConDi Claims MeYou Success: Mobile technology firm MoConDi has released figures on its mobile viral marketing application MeYou, reporting that the Italian based service has seen its subscribers send 1.6 million recommendations to their friends in the last six months. The service, currently on 3 Italia and Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Italia, sends MMS links of mobile content recommendations to a user's friend, as well as a link download the MeYou application. If the friend buys the content, the user gets credits that he or she can use to buy more MeYou content. So far, 64 percent of MeYou's subscribers have sent recommendations, with 24 percent of the recipients making purchases. Forty percent of MeYou subscribers have never made a content purchase before.
